ST. PAUL, MN – July 8, 2026 – NOVUS Glass of Greater Augusta is officially open for business following a well-attended grand opening event that brought together customers, community partners, and local leaders.
Last month, nearly 100 attendees gathered to celebrate the opening, including long-time NOVUS Glass customers, insurance partners, representatives from the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce, and members of the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The strong turnout highlighted the community’s support for the new location and its role in serving the greater Augusta area.
Owned and operated by Eddie Unruh, NOVUS Glass of Greater Augusta is located at 640 Edgefield Road in Belvedere, South Carolina. Positioned in a high-growth area with strong ties to North Augusta and centrally located to serve Aiken and Grovetown, the shop offers convenient access and visibility for customers across the region. The location provides a full range of auto glass services, including windshield repair and replacement, as well as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) calibration support.
The grand opening event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, team introductions, giveaways, and a catered BBQ lunch. Following remarks from the Chamber of Commerce, Unruh introduced his team and shared his appreciation for the ongoing support from customers and the community.
“We’ve always had a strong connection to this area, and this location allows us to better serve surrounding communities,” said Unruh. “I’m incredibly proud of our team and grateful for the support we’ve received – it means a lot to celebrate this milestone together.”
Throughout the event, NOVUS Glass technicians engaged with guests by offering one-on-one conversations and answering questions about auto glass services and ADAS technology, reinforcing the team’s commitment to education and customer care.
A highlight of the event was a fundraising raffle benefiting the local Ronald McDonald House. Sponsored by NOVUS Glass, the raffle included gift cards, a Recteq cooler, and a Recteq grill from the locally based manufacturer. The effort raised nearly $700. Nicky Woerner, Vice President of Sales and Operations – who won the grand prize, chose to donate the grill back to the Ronald McDonald House for community use.

Adding a personal touch to the event, the floral arrangements displayed throughout the celebration were created by Timothy Blair, one of Unruh’s long-time auto glass technicians, using flowers from his own garden – highlighting the close-knit, team-oriented culture behind the business.
